Bondslave Freedom: The way of the subjective cross—the cross you

are called to embrace and experience so as to know,

grow, and flow in new creation life.

Luke 9:23 Then Jesus said to all, “Anyone who wants to follow Me

must put aside his own desires and conveniences and carry his cross

with him every day and keep close to Me!”

Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ [in Him I have

shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ

(the Messiah) lives in me, and the life I now live in the body I live by faith

in (by adherence to and reliance on and complete trust in)

the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.”

Bondslave Freedom: The way of deep union and communion

with Christ within by identification with the cross.

Galatians 3:27 “For as many [of you] as were baptized into Christ

[into a spiritual union and communion with Christ,

the Anointed One, the Messiah] have put on (clothed yourselves with) Christ.”

Ephesians 6:10 “In conclusion, be strong in the Lord (Christ)

[be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him

[that strength which His boundless might provides].”

Colossians 2:6 “As you have therefore received Christ, [even] (Christ) the Lord,

[so] walk (regulate your lives and conduct yourselves)

in union with and conformity to Him.”

1 John 4:17 “In this [union and communion with Him] love is

brought to completion and attains perfection with us,

that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance

and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world.”

Bondslave Freedom: The way of closest intimacy with the Lord.

Philippians 3:8 “Yes, furthermore, I count everything as loss

compared to the possession of the priceless privilege

(the overwhelming preciousness, the surpassing worth, and supreme advantage)

of knowing Christ…my Lord and of progressively

becoming more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him

[of perceiving and recognizing and understanding Him more fully and clearly].

For His sake I have lost everything and consider it all to be

mere rubbish (refuse, dregs), in order that

I may win (gain) Christ (the Anointed One).”

Philippians 3:10 “[For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him

[that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately

acquainted with him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding

the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly],

and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing

from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers],

and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed

[in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope]

that if possible I may attain to the [spiritual and moral] resurrection

[that lifts me] out from among the dead…”

Bondslave Freedom: The way of attaining the fullness of Christ.

Ephesians 3:19 “[That you may really come] to know [practically,

through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses

mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled

[through all your being] unto all the fullness of God

[may have the richest measure of the divine Presence,

and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]!”

Bondslave Freedom: The way of the pursuit of Christ Jesus, the Lover of Souls.

Philippians 1:21 “For living to me means simply ‘Christ,’

and if I die I should merely gain more of Him.”

Jeremiah 30:21 “—‘for who is he who will devote himself to be close to Me?’

declares the Lord (Christ).”
