Income Streams via the Kingdom Economy

“Sow with great expectation today.”

Luke 6:38 MSG Give away your life; you’ll find life given back, but not merely given back—given back with bonus and blessing. Giving, not getting, is the way. Generosity begets generosity.

TLB For if you give, you will get! Your gift will return to you in full and overflowing measure, pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, and running over. Whatever measure you use to give—large or small—will be used to measure what is given back to you.

KJV Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

WHAT YOU MAKE HAPPEN FOR OTHERS, GOD WILL MAKE HAPPEN FOR YOU.

Jesus IN us is THE WAY to our anointing to function in selfless love as we yield, branch to Vine, to supernatural grace (ZOE life fruit). (See John 15.)

(SEE 1 JOHN, all different translations.)

I love the way the notes in the Recovery Version of the New Testament talk about the economy of God. (Available free at www.biblesforamerica.org). There IS another economy from the one around us governed and limited by supply and demand. It’s an economy based more on giving than receiving. It’s an economy the keys to which are found in God’s Word. And it’s an economy based on love. It’s an economy depicted at its height in the Book of Acts.

A book entitled You’re Not Broke You Have a Seed by Leroy Thompson, Jr. and The Laws of Prosperity by Kenneth Copeland set forth how to operate in God’s material economy. Other books help, too: 31 Reasons People Don’t Receive Their Financial Harvest by Mike Murdock, The Gift of Acquiring Riches by Jeronimo Onofre Da Silveira, and The Miracle of Seed Faith by Oral Roberts. The key thing to note is that all of these books revolve around a different type of riches—being “rich toward God” (Luke 12:21) or how being rich in the ways of God interfaces with financial return from Heaven.

As I have delved into what the Word says about return, I have noted a number of income streams in the Good Book. By income streams, I mean flows in the life of God that have import for favor and provision on earth. Flows that are part of being “rich toward God.” All are part of operating in the Kingdom that God has bestowed upon us.

The first is: sell off your extra possessions and give alms or monies to the poor. Heavenly bank accounts grow big from this type of giving. Give across the board to those in need as the Spirit nudges.

Note Proverbs 19:17 Expanded Bible EXB:

“Being kind [gracious; generous] to the poor is like lending to the Lord; he will reward you for what you have done [fully repay you].”

And consider what you can give besides money as you consider the purposes of wealth:

“All mankind scratches for its daily bread, but your Heavenly Father knows your needs. He will always give you all you need from day to day if you will make the Kingdom of God your primary concern. So don’t be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the kingdom. Sell what you have and give to those in need. [In other words, use your resources—including your talents or human capital to meet real human need.] This will fatten your purses in heaven! And the purses of heaven have no rips or holes in them. Your treasures there will never disappear; no thief can steal them; no moth can destroy them. Wherever your treasure is, there your heart and thoughts will also be.” From Luke 12 The Living Bible.

A second income stream revolves around the “gold” we are instructed to “buy” in the letter to Laodicea’s church from Revelation 3:18: “My advice to you is to buy pure gold from me, gold purified by fire—only then will you truly be rich.”TLB

It’s through partaking of the promises that we partake of the Divine Nature or “gold.” 2 Peter 1:4 KJV says, Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature.”

We acquire “gold” as we are reconstituted with the Word. So “Receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.” James 1:21 KJV. Thus to get rich, feed and feed and feed on the Book. Yield or surrender yourself to its truths.

This key to the economy of God revolves around reinvesting in others the “gold” that you have learned to operate in successfully. Building up others will come back to you. At the zenith of such investment, you should operate out of a heart that desires to see others reach their full potential in God. Help brothers find and fulfill their destinies. Thus, you will approach the ability to “love others as you love yourself”—the command from Matthew 22: “a second like it: ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’” JB Phillips.

A third income stream is found in Proverbs 11:25. From becoming a blessing in the earth, blessings flow back. Take in these words from The Passion Translation:

“The one who lives to bless others will have blessings heaped upon them, and the one who pours out blessings, will be saturated with favor!”

The Proverbs also provides great equipping for becoming a prophetic problem solver. It instructs us to go after the depths of wisdom so as to walk free from foolishness. As a result, you will be in demand. Mike Murdock says we were designed to solve certain problems in the earth. Might the transfer of wealth noted in Proverbs 13:22 happen because of the power and superior wisdom God’s people finally operate in? The developed bride can be thought of as a Solomonic counterpart to King Jesus—a Proverbs 31 woman. (See Proverbs 31 Passion with notes.)“The wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just,” states the King James. The Amplified says, “The wealth of the sinner [finds its way eventually] into the hands of the righteous, for whom it was laid up.” Study the how and why of this transfer.

Ask for the ability to solve knotty problems. A marketplace minister solves the problems of the city as he or she operates in Kingdom realms. Become like Daniel. Daniel 5:12 TLB describes Daniel’s gifting: “Call for this man, Daniel—or Belteshazzar, as the king called him—for his mind is filled with divine knowledge and understanding. He can interpret dreams, explain riddles, and solve knotty problems. He will tell you what the writing means.”

Note also the relationship between wisdom and wealth in The Proverbs:

Proverbs 3:13-18

“To gain the riches of wisdom is far greater than gaining the wealth of the world. As wisdom increases a great treasure is imparted, greater than many bars of refined gold. It’s a more valuable commodity than gold and gemstones for there is nothing you desire that could compare to her! Wisdom extends to you long life in one hand with wealth and promotion in the other. Out of her mouth flows righteousness and her words release both law and mercy. The ways of wisdom are sweet, always drawing you into the place of wholeness. Seeking for her brings the discovery of untold blessings, for she is the healing Tree of Life to those who taste her fruits.”

All kinds of answers come from wisdom. Christians, those indwelt by God, have access to the brilliant mind of Christ in addition to the precepts of the Word. Believers can operate in what I call genius grace. Ask God each day to give you answers for other people. Note Ecclesiastes 9:15, “Now there lived in that city a man poor but wise, and he saved the city by his wisdom.” Don’t let your current station hold you back. See Jamie Winship’s books for help on standing tall in the earth indwelt by Christ.

Christians can function in other supernatural gifts as well including the gifts of healings. There is great demand for those who can minister healing. It’s a key way to be a blessing and solve sin and sickness problems by releasing the anointing. Pioneers such as John G. Lake and Charles and Frances Hunter have left books about acquiring the healing anointing. Take a look at www.akwellspring.com. Say yes to becoming a part-time faith healer as an income stream or conduit of the life of God with a return. Living in God’s Power by John G. Lake compiled by Roberts Liardon and The Walk of the Spirit the Walk of Power: The Vital Role of Praying in Tongues by Dave Roberson both open up this avenue. Plus, the need is dire for deliverance ministers. Gene Moody’s Deliverance Manual is comprehensive. And I note the pioneering walk of Tracy Harris. See Tracy’s “No More Curse” videos on YouTube. Finally, imagine the Book of Acts writ large as the mature church comes forth walking once again to the height of scenes from the Word.

From the Recovery Version:

Acts 2:43-45

“Many wonders and signs took place through the apostles. And all those who believed were together and had all things in common; and they sold their properties and possessions and divided them to all, as anyone had need.”

Acts 4:32-35

“And the heart and soul of the multitude of those who had believed was one; and not even one said that any of his possessions was his own, but all things were common to them. And with great power the apostles gave testimony of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all. For neither was anyone among them in need; for as many as were owners of lands or of houses sold them and brought the proceeds of the things which were sold and placed them at the feet of the apostles; and it was distributed to each, as anyone had need.”

Acts 2:47 JB Phillips

“Day after day they met by common consent in the Temple; they broke bread together in their homes, sharing meals with simple joy. They praised God continually and all the people respected them. Every day the Lord added to their number those who were finding salvation.”

So start your study and practice of God’s economy with Acts. Ask yourself before God, “How much can I give?” People in the day of Acts came well before profits. Relational life triumphed over the amassing of wealth. Kingdom of Heaven income streams manifested on earth. Love broke forth. Hallelujah!
